It's funny; I have 2 other cars- both classic; a 90 buick regal burgundy , and a 92 chevy caprice gunmetal grey, both of them look almost like they just came off a showroom floor. But now that I have a 4 rnr, it is rediculous when i think about the 1st 2 cars and what is regular maintenance, and what else i am willing to consider regular maintenance, when thinking about the 4 rnr...

we got a snow storm going and i finally got around taking a mobile photo of my truck with new tires / missing running boards

these tires has noticeable different performance in the snow. Now in 4 wheel drive, i'm able to take off considerably fast from the hole.

I cant wait for my project during the summer I want to put in custom rear/front bumpers and probably rock sliders along with a "small" lift.

Murdarunner, your 4R is looking sick. How was the BL install? Was it as hard as I've read about, and did you need any extensions? That's next on my list because at full flex I feel like I'm gonna tear my fender flares off

the BL install wasnt too bad. took me a couple hours with a buddy of mine. it was sort of hard because i didnt have any directions and i had no internet because i was up in the mountains but i was able to kinda figure it out and it worked fine. i needed to extend the front bolts but as soon as you start the install you will realize if u need something. nothin a trip to the hardware store cant fix. thanks for the comments man.

Hi all. I am new here and figured I'd post my ride. Below, you can see the tragic and untimely death of my old 1990 4Runner SR5 5speed. It was crushed by a 100 year old oak tree during a storm while I was at work this summer.

Naturally, i tried to find the closest thing to my old rig as fast as possible and ended up with this beauty. A 1999 4Runner SR5 5speed

It's pretty much stock for now. When i find the funds, I plan to start with bigger tires and a maybe a brushguard w/ off-road lights and eventually a possible lift

i'll say, that's a sweet lookin tacoma. Tacoma's were my first choice before 4runner. IF i didnt find the sweet deal i had on this runner, i woulda ended up with something exactly like yours but extended cab and 5spd.

infact there's a dealer down the road from my place, have a tacoma on the lot. same color, 5spd, extended cab and it has a fisher plow on it. Sweet looking thing, but they have high price on it
