That's the 1st sensible thing I've heard all week and it has been a long week! Well good luck, and were always here to help no matter how crazy the question. But like others have said skip the SAS until you know what it is your going to do, do some Home Work and make a outline or flow chart and go from there. There will be certain things to consider simultaneously like lift, wheels, tires, gears, traction aids, armor (though it can come in anywhere), misc (this will include brake lines, mount and balance, alignment, pinch weld flattening and trimming). Unless you absolutely have to have it SAS'd then keep the IFS because God knows it's capable. Speaking of wheels I have two sets for sale both identical just different colors.

if i had 4wd ifs i would! but i either have to do a 4wd ifs swap or a SAS... sas will be easier than an ifs swap!

ive even tried taking trade offers on my truck and i get stupid offers like trade for my 95 civic with 150k miles. if i could trade it for a decent 4wd runner or of the sort i would. but with sooo lil miles the sas makes more sense to me. and i have planned it all out and know what i have to do for the most part. also my friend builds mud bog trucks and has his own shop that we will be doing it in.

Well since you put it that way SAS it is. If you haven't checked it out already http://sonoransteel.com/4runner.html Steve had IFS in the beginning then went SAS sprung under. Sprung over will give you an insane amount of lift, and could potentially be interesting to drive on the road likke this thing http://sleeoffroad.com/project_vehic...00sas_main.htm scroll though to testing or UA 2007 tab on the bottom of the photos.
