swapping 96 to 99 axle differences
I am swapping the front diff and rear axle from my 96 limited to my 99 limited. Both are limited and abs 4wd 3.4. I'm changing front and rear because the gear ratios are different otherwise I'd just do the rear. Anyway I like the 4.30 better and want the locker in my 99.
Question is, is there anything I need to look out for? Any differences or should everything just change over like I hope?
Thanks, jl

As far as I know, as long as they are both ABS you'll be fine.
Should be a bolt-on swap.
Also, do a search for "3rd gen axle swap 96 99" and see what you get.
There should be some good reading for you in there.
