Superwinch hubs.
So I found out this last weekend that my hubs were having problems. Even in free, they were still turning the axles. Not good at all. So I looked around trying to find a rebuild kit for them, and couldn't find a thing. I wasn't liking the looks of that. So I called up Superwinch and talked to a tech. I told him that my hubs were locked, even in free. So he told me there was good news and bad news. Bad news, a "service kit" that they sell won't fix my problem. Good news, they have a lifetime warranty on their hubs!!! So I just bought a new pair from them and they will refund my money when I send in the old hubs. I know most of you guys really like the Aisin hubs, but I just wanted to let you guys know about Superwinch's great service. Can't beat a new pair of hubs for free!

I'm getting very tired of their service. While the hubs are great, EVERY time I've talked to them, and each person I've talked to, starts BS'ing and saying, "uhh, well my computer just crashed... hold on..." then they take for FREAKING EVER, and it just pisses me off. I paid for expedited shipping on a Monday so I could be SURE to receive the product that Friday. They didn't ship till Wednesday, so I got the hubs the next week on Tuesday. So I complain and they tell me they will credit my shipping charges when they receive my hubs. Great. That will work. Well this week I finally get credited. But check this... they credit me ONLY for the shipping. So I call them up yesterday and the guy I talk to says, "oh well I can't do anything about it. I'll transfer you to XXXX, but she left early so she'll take care of it tomorrow". Well I'm already pissed because my bank account is now in the red(broke college student). But what can I do. I leave a nice message figuring XXXX will call me back promptly. I have to call HER and it's already 3:00PM on the east coast! And what happens?? "oh well my computer just crashed. I can't do anything for you. I'll straighten this out on Monday". I'm REALLY pissed right now. I HATE it when I get pushed/pulled around by people.
