suggestions...rough idle
When starting my 4R the last couple of days, it has sounded like it is having a harder time turning over. Then yesterday it started up....was idling roughly at about 700 rpm and decreasing (as I was depressing the brake pedal to shift) and then the engine shut off. When I restarted it....it turned over no problem.
What do all of you think maybe the source of this?
I am going to check my TB to see if it needs a cleaning, although I just had my 90,000 mile service (and the 'dealer' was supposed to clean it). My other thought was that I may need a new battery...My battery is kinda old and looking like it is on its last legs....TIA

Re: suggestions...rough idle
Check your plug wires too and clean them if necessary. I had the same problem happen on the Jeep Cherokee I drive at work just a few weeks ago and symptoms are as you describe them (at least for the idleing rough problem).
