Strongest, cheapest tires for 88 bone stock

Have an 88 runner, bone stock. I know this has been beat to death and I've spent the better part of a couple days culling through the search function. However, I hope someone might point me in the best direction:

Looking for the strongest tires (NDT Military?) and proper size to put on the truck. The truck will be in one of the worst inhabitable areas with no good paved roads, rocks, snow, rain, etc. for a couple years. Not too worried about sound, mileage rating, etc., as the truck will not be driven much. However, purchasing tires in the trucks location is not/not an option, so I'd like to get the strongest I can here in the states before heading out. So then, thoughts? Some initial thoughts are the Wild Country RVT's, possibly Mastercraft. Trying to shy away from over $150 each as I am buying 5.

Thanks!

Laugh. Great Idea on the mattracks. Truck is going to a quasi war-zone in the former yugoslavia states. I found some Series Rover bulletproof solid rubber tires but no joy. Just looking for some strong tires that will last as long as possible and, of course, as cheap as possible. The runner will be my partly-diposable-should-something-happen-i'll-not-get-brain-damage vehicle.

get BIAS swamper SX tires. i think they make them in a 28" size on a 15" rim, though you could probably put 31s on and be fine.
