yeah, I'm curious to know what was stock mpg vs. the new lift and tires mpg.

I'll be doing a lift and tires in the future, so I'd like to know what to expect.

Initially my avg mpg was 18/20 and with the lift and 285 at's its closer to 15/18 soo not so bad. I have not regeared yet for a few reasons. First to regear the rear 3rd mem. has to be dissmantled and if thats the case I want a ARB put in there with the new gears and dont want to have to do it twice. Soo Im waiting. Second I think reagearing will bring me back if not closer to stock mpg. Now with the SSR's on gas just shouldnt matter!! For instance before the lift with 265 AT's I averaged 280-300 mpt with lift and 285 AT's I averaged 235-280 mpt, with the lift and SSR's I average 200-250 mpt.

any other questions, need more pics, please dont hesitate to ask me I did alot of research looked up everything I could before the install of this lift. I got a great deal of info from Sonoran Steel, Bamachem, BajaTaco and others.

Yeah, considering the lgr tires and lift, the lower mpt isn't that bad.

Thanks for the info. Now I've got to keep saving up my money for a lift and learn to quit buying useless crap w/ it.

SWEET SETUP!

how is mileage affected with a lift only, no change in tires? I got new 265/75/16's and cant swing those nice 285's for a while. If I go with the oem lift, what could I expect with my mileage?

97 limited - how well does your 305's fit? Is there a body lift, or any rubbing? Looks BEEFY!

So after my week long Not so Expedition more so road trip type deal. I have like 700 pictures and 6 hours of video. But I did get my Hannibal roof tent done and the 4Runner loaded. Which brings me to my point After loading all the crap including the roof tent and bedding with my Sonoran Steel suspension setup she only sagged about 1" I say about because I did try and load it as evenly as possible. There are a few pictures of the load and of the Hannibal tent setup. If you have any questions post em up or pm me.

Thanks for lookin.

Aaron

Hmmm the tent is a Hannibal and they retail for $1500-$1700 I picked it up off of the Pres. of FL chapter Rover club for $300 and then refurbed the whole thing. Alwynn yes thats his name he never calls me anymore we were close friends. Yea he is a cool kid. I didnt mention the handling of the SS setup is awesome in the mountains and very predictable even with a load.
