Stereo wiring for pickup?
Hello I realized my stereo doesn't work in acc mode, I know it's a wiring thing, but I don't know what the wires are, the harnesses were cut. Does anyone have a list of what the different wires are? I have a green/red, a yellow, a black and some others. All I really need is the color of the acc power.

It may be an idea to go to a junk yard and cut the harness off of a junker of the same year with some extra wire length to spare, then splice the new, salvaged harness in. This will save you MASSIVE headaches if you have to change CD players in the future...
Hopefully on Wed night ill have time to work on my dashlights and in the process Ill have a look at the factory harness for you. I have to install my low pro bump stops on the driver's side, replace the CRUSHED rubber bushings on my airshocks with these polyurethane bad boys, replace those dashlight 76bulbs and try to fit my indiglows in there with some sanding...
Im going to be busy after my test on wed....LOL

Los Gatos,
Look at my article "Hardwiring a Valentine 1". There is a very clear pic of the 12V accessory wire. You will see the black/yellow wire that I tapped.
One caveat: the color of the wire might have changed from my 1998 to your year. Thus, test w/ a multimeter as others have said.
