Steering questions
Don't know what it's called.... but the bar that spans the width of the front end, that the inner tie rod ends connect to..... is it supposed to be completely straight? Or are there bends in it? My steering is a little funky, so this might explain the problem.
The problem being, that in front wheel drive my passenger side front tire tries to toe in majorly.
The reason I've got it in front wheel drive, is because I broke the rear ring gear, and I'm trying to get it home. But I can't get it home until I fix the toe in problem.
Thanks
EDIT: It's a 91 4x4 pickup with 3" rancho lift. Locker in the rear.

OK, I'll bite.
The bar (center link) you are referring to has a slight bend on each end - this is normal. The bends are symmetrical on both sides. It sounds like your tie rod is way out of adjustment. You need to get the front aligned to fix it - I may not be the best source of info though. I have a pulling to the right - even after alignment, that I haven't managed to fix yet.
