Springs?

Springs?
i have a rough ride in my fairly new to me 97 4runner. speed bumps/mountains(the big ones) are very rough unless i go very slowly over them. also going over them at an angle helps a bit. I have the stock springs although i do have the new style bump stops. when i took it in for the recall only the new stops were put on(no new springs since its a 2WD). i was hoping the springs would be replaced which is what i believe would solve the very rough ride. i have brand new tokicos shocks btw. I understand taht this is an SUV and a rough ride is expected but i just feel that the stoppers hit to early or something like that. So i need suggestions on the cure for this. i think i need new springs... possibly PP springs or "99 AWD springs? I just want the near cheapest option that will help and last

Most 3rd gen rear springs will be pretty well broken in by now, so ride height should stay the same. Look for 96-99 springs if you want to go a little taller in the rear (~1") or 00-02 springs for basically stock height. New springs will give a little more height first until they're sagged out.

I have my 99 springs for sale - had a couple of bites but nobody took them. Fronts are complete with KYB Monomax shocks. Rears were not sagging at all but would not hold up with a loaded trailer.
I upgraded to PP Springs and Bilsteins - which will cost you 600ish bucks if you go that route.
PM if you are interested.
