Billy,
Nice looking rig! Now what I want to know is how do you like the tires?

I am looking at getting a set of the 285/75/16 when they are released in November but wanted some first hand feedback beofre purchasing them.

steelhead - He loves the tires! Tried to convince me to wait till they came out in a smaller size for my own truck!

steelhead-
yeah, r0cky beat me to it! the tires are awesome...and not a single pic i have ever seen even begins to do them justice...they are plain nasty. The sidewall has huge lugs that are nearly 6" in length in the direction toward the center of the hub, they ride super smooth and quiet, and are a 10 ply radial, making them fuction essentially as a run flat if you were ever to run into a flat...though i would have a super hard time imagining that happening. My 37x13.5's measure closer to 38", and are damn heavy, weighing in at about 110lbs a tire. If you have any other questions, feel free to hit me back anytime...as far as a new tread design that is offered in a vast array of sizes, you would be hard pressed to find a better m/t tire, period. Have a good one.

Got any close ups of the tire wheel combo? I'm having a hard time picturing this. I thought the sidewalls were barely 6"...

I wish i did...my W7's are sitting on the floor of my apt as we speak, as are 4 mtx 1501's, i had to remove the box to free up a little room for my move to CA, plus it was time to rebuild the box for the 4th time...lol...i have the driver's side door panel(JL tweet, MTX tweet, JL 4", J 6", and MTX 6000 series 8" sub) hooked up as well as the HE2's under each front seat...i suppose i should change my sig to '160 Db a while back...about 60 Db now'...one of these days i'll get the sucker back together.

Well, I'll be patiently waiting until I can see some pictures. There's nothing wrong with not having 160 dB for a little while. It will just sound better when it's hooked back up. Everytime I am without my truck for a while and ride in it for the first time I enjoy the bass more. I seem to get used to it when I listed to it on a regular basis. But, I am talking one JL 10", not ear-bleeding bass like you. Keep us posted.

Rocky and Billy,

Thanks for the review on the tires. I am waiting for November so I can get a set of the 285/75/16. I have a set of Revo's with 10,000 miles on them and think they are great tires but my truck looks like an SUV with them on. Just looking for something with a little more meat to them.
