I have a 3rd gen 4runner with a sport hood. Last week i saw a 3rd gen 4runner with a hood bra that had an opening for the sport scoop. I know it's not functional but it had the cut out with a mesh opening. Does any one know who makes this and where I can buy it. I have been searching online and none of the discriptions say it has that cut out with the mesh insert.

 

oh no.... just go with the 3m protective tape or something of the sort - I cant take a 4runner, or any car for that matter, seriously that has a bra on it...

 

haha, I had a bra on my '85 Celica back in '94 and a friend backed over my hood with his truck and ripped it off. I thanked him later.

I would agree with the 3M stuff, get the clear protective film put on before you go with a bra. I didn't even know they still made those things.

 

Bras are so '80s and do they even make them anymore? They do more damage to the paint than they protect because of debris getting underneath and just sands the paint and unless you remove it weekly and clean underneath it but I've never known anybody that did that with their bras.

 

It hides the dents....

That looks good.. I wouldn't mind one like that but I can't stand the ones that cover half the hood, the whole bumper and half the front fenders. I also couldn't justify putting one on on a vehicle thats born after like 1990 haha. And to the OP, good luck finding the one you're wanting. I've personally never seen it or even a bra on a 4Runner... well until just now
