philly,
i *think* know why you are getting confused.
the reverse indiglos and the regular el-glos are two differnt things. with the reverse indiglos, the only thing that changes colors is the numbers. w/ the el-glos (the ones that the rice rockets have and that i used to have *blush*), it is the face that can change from blue to green. that is what the inverter *switch* is for.
the dial is identical in purpose = changes the brightness/intensity of the color.

Well I guess I'll know exactly when I get them installed. There should be plenty of pictures abound once we all get them installed.
thanks again

I've been searching for a way to do red or orange indiglos in my 93. Is the inverter what makes the material do blue/green or red/orange, or is the material itself color specific.
There are alot of blue/green kits available for my application, but no red/orange. Please - many pics!!!

Has anyone received theirs yet? I sent them an email on Monday and they are yet to respond. They told me three weeks ago that they would ship in a week, and still no gauges. What's the deal?

Well, I finally got a chance to call SpeedHut. They said they didn't know what year my 4Runner was and that was holding up my order.
:wtf:
Anyway, they said that I should have them next week.
Here is the phone number I called: (801) 796-1460

I e-mailed them and received a response.
My card was charged 02/25/04.
They said they sent a shipment 03/04/04, so it should be on the way ( or SOMETHING is on the way .... They gave me a tracking # and everything, the USPS web site can't seem to tell me where it is though.
Jeez..I put my pre-order in maybe 2+ years ago...hehehe...

Yippee...I received my gauges today...
I received mine today. I do have a couple of complaints. First; the "TRD" font could have been done alittle better to match the original lettering. Second; the "circles" where the warning lights are are kind of weird looking. I think they did this since there is a differance between the location of the warning lights on the 99-00 and the 01-02 models. I'll install this weekend.

I'll lay 'em over the old ones so I have the warning light markings through the silly circles they made. Probably install tomorrow if I find the time.

Pfdaxe,
Be sure to post some pics on here of the white face gauges installed on top of the insturment panel (closeups). It seems to me like it is going to look really, really goofy having white face gauges with random black circles all over them. Just my opinion though.
