which spark plugs??
I'm about to change my 4Runner plugs for the first time. The 3.4 liter has 202,000 miles, really!!! There are so many different plugs out there -what do you experts recomend for an older engine? I think Boshe makes a bunch of varieties - any advantage to those platinum plugs, 4 tang or the split tang plugs?

Ya, go with the NGK they are OEM Quality. I went with the V-Power. They work great! Here is there web site--->http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/product...200&country=US

I put 100K on a set of Bosche +4's on a '95 4Runner and got 19-21 mpg. Finally took them out and put in a set of Bosch platinum single electrodes. Same performance.
Got the '99, swapped in Bosche double electrodes. Was getting 17 with the original plugs. Mileage jumped to 20 mpg.
There's nothing wrong with Bosche, NGK or Denso's. They're all good plugs.
