Glad you got it running good now. I clean my MAF once every year regardless of miles. To avoid stripping the screw in the future, just take out the whole intake.

Keep an eye on the Bosch O2 sensor, to see if you get another CEL, for they have known not to work well in some Toyotas because they "hunt" too much...

You can't get to the wires in the MAF unless you unscrew and pull it.
