Question spare tire mounts

Anyone know of a good company to get a spare tire mount from? I have oversized tires, and want to stick the tire in the bed so it doesn't look horrible sticking out underneath. Anyone with suggestions feel free to help me out here. Thanks.

Here's mine; http://www.rjrproducts.com/spare-menu.html

I got that one because it was quickly removeable to allow use of the bed.

I love this disclaimer "NOTE: This is a Tire Holder - Not Baja Proven" Heh-heh!

I didn't realize this unit was not solid though and through. These pictures are kind of confusing! The "chrome" unit looks full of holes but the black unit looks solid?!?

I don't think they want the pre-runners jumping with it But as you have seen, it's plenty sturdy The black one also has holes in it.

BTW, great sig Your rig is coming along nicely!

What size tire? A lot of people with 33s will get 33x9.5s for the spare and leave it down below.

Re: tire size?

Problem is, the stock tires are 26", and I am running 31's on there now. So to use the stock spare tire mount w/ 31's would either mean moving the exhaust, or have the tire just shove it a few inches over, and I am not to crazy about the idea of my tailpipe rubbing against the one tire I might need to depend on some day . Anyways, I found one from fab-tech, and I love the blue, (it would match the rest of the blue stuff I had) but I was curious what kind of prices there are for different mounts, that's my main objective, finding a decent price. For what I use my truck for, any tire mount system should do, so color, size, and price are the only factors. The quick mount system does sound really nice though, I might have to check on that. I haven't had to haul anything for a while, but it would be nice when I need to.

To WATRD:

what was the price on those RJR spare tire mounts, I think that would be my best option here.

Give Central 4x4 a call and see what they will sell it to you for. I worked one of my infamous deals for mine, so the price was not representative.
