Necaise is just North West of Gulfport, Mississippi. The tires are 15X39.5X15 TSL Swampers. Alcan made the springs for my SAS. I'm still in the building stage on jack stands. How ever I have enough of the front end in to have test fit the tires last Monday. I have a little more than 5"s to the running boards or bumper.

I don't balance my tires....
if I get one thats a little bumpy i just move it to the right rear, and do burnouts until the tires rounds itself out evenly....
Tire weights are for sissys..... I also like running bent rims with mud and sand caked in the wheel between the bead of the tire and rim.

Gonna go pricing MT/R's and Revos, probably end up wiht MT/R's.

Get full floaters with hubs in the rear, hubs in the front. unlock the downhill side front and rear and go from there.... probably a lot of work and $$ and it might work. My old 52 willys cj3a had hubs on all 4 in a similar situation leaving the hubs locked on one side only helped.

btw, what do you guys think of the Firestone Destination MT's?
Also, 285/75 on stock 16x7 wheel will fit fine right? None of that stuff about the wheel being too skinny I was reading about in the old threads from a long time ago?

No Ted, I read your post and today when I went into discount tire I had them give me a quote on those as well. I just don't see many people running those, therefore not getting a lot of comments besides you and schaeffer. But remember, you guys are in Texas and AZ, where there isn't a lot of snow/slush/rain
So here is my decision:
Revo - 760.80
MT/R - 750
Gonna go with the Revos because I drive about 300 miles every weekend so the Revos are better for me. Also cuz I wheel only about once a month (if that)

I just checked out TireRack.com and apperently some guys use these on their snow plows and others use them for passing people with chains on their tires. I'd say they handle snow. Check out the reviews...

They have saved my arse a few times from plowing over a few of these idiot Houston drivers.Update #2:
Looks like the Yoko's 285/75R-16 are only $143 a pop in Detroit area.
I'm done suggesting them, now, I just hate to see people follow the popular when there are better things available. :cry:
