Something Looks Like It Exploded!??
under my truck, i cant believe it it looks like i blew the transfer case up there is oil/grease everywhere the oil is so bad it is dripping from the crossmember skid plate? the transfer case it self is covered but doesnt seem to be messed up any? and im also getting bad drive line lash thought it could have been universal joint but none of them are bad so what the hell im getting so pissed at this damn truck ive spent nearlly $1500-$2000 in the past 4 months tires, clutch, cv joint, cv boot, wheel bearing, full engine tune up sparks plugs wires ignition, big fog lamps up front, now i am looking to get out of it the engine runs great and the tires are basically new the clutch still grabs what it is the going rate for a vehicle like mine?

You might want to check all the bolts that connect your transmission togeather or where any surfaces are mated togeather there. When I had my clutch replaced, they didn't tighten a lot of those bolts enough and a couple months later mine looked just like your describing.
Grear grease everywhere and dripping off the crossmember.
I tightened them up and no more leak.

thanks
thank you. now for fixing my driveline anybody think it could be the rear? i mean i went under there and tried to turn the driveshaft it turned about a half inch left to right but the movement was in the rear and the transfer case nowhere on the drivshaft?

PROTO, to really check the u-joints you need to remove the driveshaft. U-joints are the weak link there. You might want to do that first. and usually cause a lot of vibration when going bad.

Yes, that's normal.
How about describing the "lash" a little better. It is a vibration at speed or as you start moving? It could be axle wrap from worn bushings in the control arms, or it could be clutch chatter. It could be the output bearing on the transmission, which if toasted would let gear oil by the seal. It could be any number of things, it all depends on what you're calling "lash"...

What kind of grease/oil are you seeing? Is it thick stuff that doesn't drip? Heavyweight oil that moves slowly or lightweight oil that drips like water? The type of fluid will help indicate where it's coming from. As for the driveline vibes, rule out the simple stuff like loose lug nuts and missing wheel weights before you start pulling u-joints or diffs apart.

make sure the vibes are not coming from missing bolts where the trans/tcase bolt to the skid plate, these have been know to work out and cause vibes, esp when first moving

Do you have an auto or 5-speed? If an auto, it could be that youir tranny was overfilled and it got hot and pushed excess ATF out of the breather in top of the tranny. This happened to me the first and only time my "trans temp" light came on.
