Slow Throttle Response, Fuel Mileage Low, Backfire When Shifting etc..
Hopefully the wizards here can point me in the right direction for this issue that has plagued me for over a couple of years.
I have a 95 runner with a 97 heart transplant and have always had a hesitation in the throttle response. I also continue to have a backfire most of the time when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Rarely above this range. Combine this with not as pretty gas mileage as other swappers. Roughly get 12 around town and sometimes can squeak out a 16 on the freeway from a full freeway tank.
Since the swap I have added the supercharger, 7th injector system, meth injection, stainless catback at 2.5", and regeared from 4.88 to 4.30. Nothing has either changed it or made this situation better so I am wanting to start trying to determine if I should just live with it and accept it as normal conditions or invest some real time and dollars into eradicating this phenomena.
Thinks I have done - new TPS, Swapped and cleaned MAF, cleaned TB, Cleaned and put new gaskets on IAC (one year old), New Bank 1 O2 sensor (one year old), new timing belt, water pump etc, new plugs (2 step cooler) 9 months old, new plug wires (when swap done) two years old now..
Items of note - swap harness that came with engine had been cut at rear 02 sensor and also at vehicle vapor sensor. Had to add a plug for the rear 02 and also for the vapor sensor.
Kinda long post to get to the question- Any thoughts?? Anywhere else to start with? Or just live with what I have.
