single DIN gauge pods?

I'm planning to prep for a planned future SC. Part of the planning is to get gauges installed. Whether or not I end up with an SC, gauges will feed my OCD, so it's all good.

I'm looking for gauge mounting options. My preference is for a single DIN system that would fit above my single DIN head unit. The following link is the only single DIN gauge pod system I can find. Does anyone have experience with these and/or have an opinion?

Thanks much,

Have you considered the TRD boost gauge? It's not a DIN mount, but it does mount to the left side drivers post. Unless you have additional gauges, it's a pretty slick setup.

Never seen the din set up in person but it looks like a sweet set up. The 1 gen trucks had a dual gauge pod that was similar that was mounted at the bottom of the dash ahead of the shifters on SR5 models. Your din set up would be a nice retro nod to the old school set up.

Well Im sure at some point Speedy will wee this, but Im gonna go ahead and post his website. If you really want multiple gauges he has a great write up and pictures of how he did his. Im sure he would be glad to answer questions if you need help (great guy).

If your like me and dont like having gauges all over the place you can do the single gauge pod (or mount it in the din slot per speedys design) and use the PLX DM100 or 200. I have the DM100 OBD on the way. These are great because you can hook all of your sensors into one gauge and monitor them all. Admittedly it is a bit pricey to do it this way, but like you Im a little OCD about it.
