I have to agree, that color looks like primer and the first thing i thought was, "hmm, must have not had time to paint it or he is cheap"
Driving down the road i can see it looking like that half painted car that are everywhere. Black really would look much better, or green to match.

i received mine on friday and im hoping to install it on monday or tuesday.
got the one without any tube, powdercoated black + piaa fogs.
ill get some pictures up as soon as i can.
hey seanz0rz, how long did it take for you to install?
and for the turn signals did you splice the new lights onto the stock wiring?
im a bit confused because the new ones have a plug-in type connection.

We just cut the stock signal wiring and splice into it. We are happy with the quality and brightness of these signals. We had a customer provide us with some LED's to install into his signals as we installed the bumper, he provided a link to what he got for those of you who might want to go that route http://frickinbrite.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=311

Thanks Nick! that looks good, i might have to get those!
install, including paint, took me roughly 8 hours. i rushed the paint, but your install should take no longer than 6 hours. i had to hand file the front most cross member a tad bit. i also did not weld on the endcap pieces, as it was threatening rain the entire day, and welding for me requires a generator. when i finally plunk down the money for a winch, ill do it then.
mine fit really tight between the two brackets (i didnt file enough down on the frame rails.) so it just took two people to set it in place, and then the rest was done with a dead blow hammer (5 bucks at harbor freight). because of the tight fit, i opted not to remove the bumper to drill the holes, so i used a right angle drill to drill them. while waiting for paint to dry i was doing other things, like removing stock bumper, drilling required holes, etc.
overall, not a difficult install.
for turn signals, yes i just spliced into the factory harness, cutting off both connectors. i just had to twist the wires together and tape because it started pouring rain on me, but i eventually will go to disconnects.
and i most certainly will not paint it a different color. i like the silver hammer finish, and the rest of my accessories are painted to match. it does need to have another coat applied, with some time and prep work. i like it and thats all that matters.

so does it come with the outer orange lights for the turn signal, or do I have to find that myself or purchase it from them?
And i saw in earlier pictures them doing some fabrication, is it just bolt on, or do I have to do any metal fabricating?

It comes with the orange lights, but if you want driving lights for the other holes you need to provide them yourself. You can get PIAA and Hella driving lights through Shrockworks if you so choose.
The bumper is bolt-on, with no welding required. On some 3rd Gens I think you may have to grind a wing off of your frame, but it can be done easily with a $20 Harbor Freight angle grinder.
I'm not associated with Shrockworks in any way other than being a happy customer, and AFAIK all of the above are correct. Maybe if Nick is hanging around here he can confirm/clarify these points.

The bumper is completely bolt-on but some easy drilling and minor grinding is required.
It does come with optional frame end caps that makes another strong attachment point. This modification requires welding. It's recommend if you plan on heavy winching and want that "extra" peace of mind.
If you (or anyone) is interested in viewing the Shrockworks PDF file that details bumper installation, PM me and I'll send it via email.

Still pretty simple to figure out...

The tires are BFG MT 255/75R17's
These pics were taken before the OME lift and bumper...
