I think you need to go pick up my tow hitch and have it custom painted/clear coated to match. The matte finish looks washed out compared to the nicely painted bumper. As for the lights, I'm not totally sold on them. A bit "altezza" looking but thats cool, you can sell me your used LEDs if you like the black ones more!

Yeah man, I really want that hitch, eventually I'll be up around Asheville and I'll get it one day.. haha. But yeah, I was thinking they do kinda of have that altezza look, so when I put them on, and if I don't like them. I'll send them back. But if really want to see some hideous looking altezza ones, check these out.. lol

man know matter what lights you chose i will be jealous. My 4runner will nevar have a mirror finish like yours does..
id say leave the ones you got on, do the 3rd brake light led mod, and call it good..

Hey sheezy....if I'd seen this thread earlier, I would have mentioned that some of the really good body shops around here used to mix up a little black paint into the clear coat to black out lenses like that before all the new styles were available. Just one option you could try.
Anyhoo......late to the thread but my vote is for the blacked out ones. They'll look great on your rig.
I was into street trucks before I was into 4wheeling, so I really like your truck. It adds variety to the forum. I'm glad you post on yotatech.

Yeah man, I might try to locate a body shop that could do a custom tint job on my tails, because if I attempted that, I'm sure I would fail. But yeah man, I feel the same way, that I add a variety. Because there's not many street Runner's on here. Even though I don't contribute a lot of useful info, I do what I can.

Well since I have been slowly blacking out my 4Runner, I was thinking about getting these, I just noticed them a few days ago, what do you guys think? I wanted to get everyone's opinion before I make a decision:
Currently, I've got these:
I believe the black ones would blend in better with my ride than the OEM looking ones?

Really though... I thought you were going to get some of that Nightshade and try out on your OEM lights. If that works, that would be a lot cheaper then buying a whole new set of LEDs.
