Should I get these black LED tails??
Well since I have been slowly blacking out my 4Runner, I was thinking about getting these, I just noticed them a few days ago, what do you guys think? I wanted to get everyone's opinion before I make a decision:
Currently, I've got these:
I believe the black ones would blend in better with my ride than the OEM looking ones?

Well they're from the same mfg. and look like they are the same except for the black lens/trim. They should work the same though I'm always noticing that rides with those kind of lites always seem to have dimmer tails and are harder to spot on the road at night/in bad weather.
Personally I think the ones you have now really add an exclamation point to the truck they just pop.
If you are getting them from a bricks and mortar store they will let you try them before you buy them or accept a return if you don't like them after a day or two.

In my own personal opinion, I like the black LED taillights as it would fit perfectly with your "blacked out" theme.
In addition to that, if you ever decide to switch, you have a buyer for your LED taillights that you currently have on your beautiful 4Runner.

I think its a toss up. You're not completely blacking out the 4runner because you have chrome rims that really add that pop, and the oem led lights are bright enough that they have the same effect. Then again, since your 4runner's black, the black led's would probably look just as good. I say go for the black ones because nobody has them yet, and even if you don't like them I'm sure somebody will take them off your hands rather quickly. Good luck man!!

FoSheezy I feel that I must say, OMG your ride is clean and shiny. Not too hard to tell that she ain't no woods beater!!!
There ain't enough Armour All and clay bars in all of Canada to buff out the dents, scratches and pine striping on my truck to make it as shiny as yours.
oh yeah and x2 on the peer pressure -- the blacked out tails would look awesome me thinks.

Thanks for all the quick replies, I'm definitely going to get them, hopefully in a couple of days. Then soon to follow, will be the all black 20"s on 33's. I'll probably debadge the 4Runner emblem, but leave the Yota symbol, and black it out. The price for my LED tails will be $160 even.

Where did you find those black ones? I've been looking (maybe next years list of "to do" items) for a set that I liked.
BTW... Those black headlights that I email that one place about a while back.... Never got a responce...
