shocks, shocks
i know iknow dont shoot me guys but shocks seem to be the most popular subject but the question i hvae which doesnt seeme to be answered is. how compatable are tundras suspension to a 99 4runner ??? they seeem to be interchangeable but are they exactly are more modifications needed?? thanks for the incoming replies

Tundra valved means that the shock is valved for the extra weight of the tundra (stiffer) but is still in the taco/4R housing. There are several guys with tundra valved shocks on the board. I will be another soon (i hope) as my downeys aren't stiff enough for me. Contact the seller of the SAWs. The best is Mike at xtremeoff-road.com He will get things figured out for you.

Okay to clear things up:
You will need to get the 4runner coilover system. But what you can do is have the psi set for a higher one (like tundra spec) so it will be stiffer
But the actual hardware must be for the 4runner (mounting parts such as top plate and bottom hole). The coil stiffness and the shock compression can be higher though. (I believe that's what you mean about tundra valved right?)

well honestly i wasnt sure what i meant. tundra valved was not exactly specific to what it meant to a rookie like my self . but i have a clearer picture now.
