sweet I kind agathered that based on my experience ...they do kick ass on the road though feels kinda like a car rather then a big truck...until the Swampers start goin sideways on you on the freeway

According to past responses by Flygtenstein, the optimum size for the front with BJ spacers is the same as the front application for Suzuki Samurais. I have Rancho 5167 and they work with no issues. They are about 10.25 in collapsed and 15.25 extended. For some reason my PDF isn't working right today so I don't have exact measurements but thats pretty close (you can look them up yourself at Ranchos site) If you're looking for cheap check this out:

I didn't run across them until after I had my Ranchos but I did get some for the rear and they work fine (very similar to Rancho 5000 if those are to your liking) Hope that helps. Sure can't beat the price.

But I can see how you would'nt necessarily want to feel everthing in a "big truck" on the trails like you would if you were on the road, but I enjoy being able to manuver my "big truck" as though it were a little car.

What I meant by that was because of the reduced body roll there isn't much of a feel to the breakaway point of the tires, I'll be going around a large sweeping corner and all of a sudden I'll check my mirror and see alot more of the side of the road then I should I realize that most Yotas including my truck definately don't qualify as a big truck but I do like it to feel like a truck so that I don't get into trouble, with the body roll its easier to tell that I'm approaching sliding. I agree though I definately feel that having your truck handle like a car is nice if your able to stay stuck to the road.

Ah, see, it's the "body roll" that is the precursor to the "sliding".
Eliminating/greatly reducing it eliminates/greatly reduces the vehicles potential to slide as the body's inherent roll is from it's having lost it's balance due to increased "G" forces and "tipping" which throws the vehicles' weight to the side, generating a fulcrum-like effect which is increased exponentially depending on the amount of speed one is traveling at the time they enter the curve/turn..., thereafter, I only need be concerned about road hazards such as spills and/or debris that would provide an unstable road surface.
All in all, to each his/her own. For myself, I prefer to have a better "feel" of my vehicle in order to better gauge what it is doing and when, which is probally something from my earlier racing years (just can't get it out of my system ), and so I like a tighter, less sloppy suspension to help me better "read" the road, but one with a comfort level as well.

Silver Truck I just put some bilsteins on my truck about a month ago, they are awesome. I was able to get them for 230 dollars from central 4wd in Everett. So if you want to spend the cash do it its well worth it. The part #s are B46-1139 and B46-1140. Good luck with your choice!
