Setting up a sweet '99! where to find Parts??
Hey this thread is actually for a freind of mine, He just got himself a 99 4runner and wants to make it stand out and look good, as well as perform better on and off the road.
Where are good places to look for parts for the 99, he told me he couldnt find anything for a 99 and he really wanted a new grill and skid plate.
any body have any suggestions and pics of their 99's and what they have done

In what way does he want it to stand out?
Is he looking for a flashy, Bling, Bling look? -or-
Is he looking for an off-road, rugged look?
What style of grill is he looking for?

I'm thinkin he can shop the same places you shop for your 90,....he'll just find more stuff than you. .....But more specifically I could recommend Downey, 4wheelparts.com, Performance products, Northwest offroad, Offroad warehouse, offroad solutions. Pick up any four wheeler magazine and they're chock full of ads. Just takes a little patience, a computer with internet, and a little common sense. Might I suggest you have "your friend" do a word search on google. Simply type in something like 4runner offroad performance. That should bring up hundreds of links. There is no substitute for doing a bit of our own research, that's half the fun. There's also quite a few links associated with the aftermarket and oem parts suppliers forum on the login page of this website. Good Luck
