Sequoia Brakes
Had the recall done on my 2002 Sequoia and a few months later started having vibration issues AGAIN... called the dealer and they say that its normal wear and tear and that the manual states that I should have them check my brakes every 5k miles. In other words brake service on this truck is like changing the oil... are they nuts... anyway... they will not service it under warranty as its a Maint. part. Looks like I need Rotors (as they are warped) and I need brake pads yet again on all 4 wheels. Should I turn the rotors? I have heard that turning them can weaken them to the point where they can crack easily and hence cause bigger issues (not to mention the danger of the tire coming loose). I have also heard that turning them can screw up the ABS as it will not be able to detect the width accordingly.
Any suggestions?
If I go aftermarket... any rotors that will last longer along with Pads?

I heard that the brakes on those and Tundras are notoriously undersized and that was why they warp so easily. Evidently there is an upgrade for the caliper that is supposed to help with this warping problem. If they have been upgraded already then you need to keep searching but just thought I would give you a link for this.
