Seats are a pain in the you know what.
All right,
I searched and didn't come up with anything so I'm posting. My work truck is a '96 Tacoma "extra cab" with the 60/40 split bench. The seat is toast after 240,000 miles of rear-ends sliding in and out, and we want to replace it. My question is this, how diverse are my options? can I put 4-runner buckets in it, T-100 seats, etc... What have you all had good luck with?
Thanks,
Andy

Well I have no direct experience with the Tacoma. But I was able to bolt in a set of 4runner buckets into my '87. I would think you would be able to do something similar. Look around, maybe you can find a taco at the salvage yard with decent seats. Good luck!

I swaped out the buckets on my 98 Tacoma Extra Cab for the split bench seats from a 04 taco xtra cab I found in a local wrecker a few summers back, & no more back pain.
