Schweet Mod I wanna try. (pickup)

Pretty cool mod on the front end of this truck.

Ok I picked up the latest edition of minitruckin' just for this cover truck. I know I know its lowered, thats not what I liked it for... I like the way its styled.

Well to get to the point, The front of it has a 4runner bumper and grille. I posted something bout this before but I don't think there was much response. Anyone have any ideas on this, as to if it will bolt up no prob or what mods might have to be done. I saw a kit in the mag but they want something to the tune of 800-900$ I know I could probably get the parts for cheaper than that at a junk yard. I do know I would need the headlight assemblies along with prob harness, the grille and the bumper itself. Any input on this idea would be greatly appreciated...

I like that! I think it would be a pretty good idea. I think that the hardest part would be fabricating plates to bolt the front end to. There would be alot of trial and error to get them in the right place and all. I think getting the parts at a junk yard is the place to go. Cheaper and you can get more...hood, etc. I would say check it out and try it out. Keep the stock stuff just in case, but otherwise, have fun! Goodluck and let us know what happens! :fireman:

Well truthfully the only things I think I'll need is all the mounting hardware, the grille, the headlights and harness, and the bumper and valance. Personally I think that it will bolt up. Like I said they sell the entire kit in the magazines for about 800-900$ I think that is rediculus. I'll toy (heh) with the thought once I get the truck and can goto a junkyard and measure up things.

Anyone know where I could find some info on what the grille looks like ie. where it bolts up, measurements so that I can compare too.
