Satoshi Grill Mod

Hey guys im still new at modding the T4R and would like to know how to do this ive read alot and seacrhed it just isnt clear on how to do this. I would also be willing to let someone do this for me and I will pay.

Satoshi Mod is old news, but i still love it!

i'm goin to be doin the mod to my '92 4runner (don't see many Satoshi'd 2nd gens )

Here are pics all I have. I used the mesh from home depot so its not the greatest probably will re do it with better stuff. I have found some stuff on ebay any other suggestions to make this look good and look right. [IMG][/IMG]

I don't know if it's the same thing, but I remember doing something similar to my import racer a while back with wire mesh etc etc. God I wish I still had the photos of that car. lol.

Just wonderin, where did the "Satoshi mod" come from? It sounds JDM-ish. lol Did Toyotas from over seas have this? or did someone come up with this?

I think it looks like an older edition toyota not sure but thats my guess. The mod looks great if I can figure it out.

i can't see it good enough, make the pics bigger?

did you paint your chrome grille surround too? or what...if so...i believe you needa repaint it lol cuz it looks like it's chipping

i think someone just came up with it, there might have been a company overseas called Satoshi that made a grille, then went out of business? i have no idea honestly lol

yours look like it's flush with the BACK of the grille.

mine is going to be flush with the FRONT of the grille...if you can't my drift?

atleast it might, ima see what looks best then do it that way lol

I did repaint it lol. looks bad in those pic's.
I painted the surrounding chrome black and the mesh in it. I think I might pick up some of that mesh looks better. I would like to have a step by step right up if anyone can do that for me and what parts they used. I will try and take better pic's tomorrow.
