Thumbs up FOR SALE: 2000 4Runner 4WD 5-speed V6, 18K Miles, Phoenix, $19,500

Some of you know that I have 2 4Runner’s right now – a 96 and a 00. For strictly financial reasons, I have decided to sell the 00 and keep the 96.

Link in Yotatech classifieds

mt goat (Dale) here on the forum can also confirm everything I have mentioned.

Let me know if you have any questions. Pictures will be up tomorrow.

-Christian

Yeah the center console would be reason enough to keep it!!

I installed my 99+ center console last friday and I love it!

I never heard from you, so I guess your trip went smoothly. Did you take the southern route and stop in Cruces?

Sounds like a really fair price. Good luck with the sale.

Jayson-

In all honesty, I was tired and I tried to make it in one shot. I almost made it, but I had to stop in Gallup for a couple hours of shut-eye. Besides, I had no idea what time I was going to be in certain cities. I avoided the Southern route, and stayed on 40. Total distance was 972 miles. I made it in about 11 hours drive time. I was tempted to meet up with some Toyota buddies, but time was not on my side.

We should definitely meet up sometime soon!

Have you swapped the headlights and corner lenses from the '00 to your '96?

I dont think the swap would be that simple. Correct me if I am wrong. Besides, if the buyer is anything like me, they would notice something like that missing.

Dont get me wrong, the thought has crossed my mind. The 00 headlights work a lot better than my 96's. I have sat and stared at the 00, dreaming of the hood, flares, and various other goodies on my 96...but in all honesty, I dont want to short-change anyone.

No peer pressure! Stop!

Christian,
It is as simple as unscrewing and unbolting. No peer pressure.

They are not going to notice any headlight changes. It's not that much of a difference, 96-98 style on to the 99-00 style, no one will notice don't worry.

All of you guys are so evil!!! Here he is, an upright kind of guy - trying to be an honest seller and all of you guys are trying to convince him to switch and swap around to make a 9600 hybrid

For shame!

Christian,
Go for it! A little swap never hurt anyone

I say you go pick up a six pack, pull up a lawn chair, give the 00 a good long look, and come to your senses and sell the 96 like you were supposed to. Damn it, you can't return an impulse buy, that goes against the rules. You had the wife convinced and everything, do you think she will forget this, the next time you go out and want to buy that $25,000 harley, shes not going to say "use your best judgemnt" again ... shes going to remind you of this incident, in which you purchased a truck and then sold it two weeks later!!

After all this, if you still feel like selling it, then you need to go out and buy another six pack and drink that one .. keep repeating this process until your able to think straight again.

Here is an algorithm that expands sdastg1 idea.

(Happiness x fun)+Kickass00runner;
multiplied by the cleanliness, which=holyness;
-'96 dirtyness
product= God will hate you if you sell the '00)

Do you see money in this equation?

Hope that helps!

P.S. I'm in the market for a '96!
