Might not help but I removed mine just so I could add sliders, if nothing else there are a more heavy duty "step" so no matter yours or your significant others weight gain in the future not a problem! They are a nice addition and have some benefits other than the obvious protection, from shopping carts, door dingers, small animal attacks, etc.

they are good protection off road and against door dings if you get 15 degree stubbs sliders or 4crawler's sliders. makes a good step too to get in. 30 degree wont give you as much of a step or door ding protection. just somethign to consider.

also, if you plan to put a lift in the future, you may want to wait until you weld those sliders on. do the lift first, then the sliders

If you are not into wheeling your truck, you may want to consider what sliders do to the resale as well.

This is what I did instead of purchasing mud flaps for the front. I trimmed the section of fender flare that transitions down to the running boards. I then reattached them using the original hardware and added a machine screw/nut on each side to keep them from flopping around. I plan on eventually herculining the lower section of my runner to prevent rock chips and hide the ones I already have.

as a matter of fact it was. I couldn't beleive it myself. I had almost forgot about having them listed and checked with 2hr's left on the auction and they were at $100 so I thought that was pretty cool. I came back and they sold for like $225. I think that may have been a once and a lifetime deal though:bigclap:
