Sweet looking truck
I gotta ask though why did you switch the rims? The first set looked pretty good to me. Actually I was wondering what they were. The ones you have now look great too they're Mickey T's right? Cheers Aviator

Thanks for all the comments!
Aviator-those old wheels are American Racing Venturas. They were nice wheels, but they sat down in Florida for a long time, and got all pitted up and dull. They looked good from far away, but up close they were pretty dull. We couldn't get them to polish out. Plus, the new wheels make it look alot more like a 4X4. Those aren't Mickey T's, they are Eagle Alloys model 186. They are almost the exact same thing as the Mickey Classics, just about $100 less for a set of four. We just wanted to put some BFGs in place of the cheap Pirelli's, and decided to get all new wheels while we were at it.

You'll love the mileage of the bfg/at too. had them on my 4runner for over a year and they had a little less than half tread when i bought the truck so they wear great. Plus they had good traction....The rims looks exactly like my MT's minus the beadlock ring. Nice 4runner dude....

Love the wheels and tires.
How do the BFGs ride on the street? smooth?
ive head that they are great offroad tires. i dont think you have had a chance to get them on the trail yet but when you do let us know how you liek them.

The on-road ride is nice! Very smooth, and no roar at all. I absolutely love them! We haven't been off-road with them yet, but I've heard they do quite well. I'm hoping they wear really well. Just gotta keep my foot outta the throttle of the big 350 . They also handle tons better than the old Pirelli's we had on there. The front end no longer wanders around on all the washboard roads we have around here. When we first got this truck, it didn't look so hot, but it's amazing what a little polishing, cleaning, and a new part here or there can do . Thanks for all the comments!
