RockWare Snaps Up

Anybody feel like hosting a few pics so I don't have to post them small and one at a time?

Looks good, Dave!

I'll send you a link or 2 when I get home where you can put your pictures. You can also try a search here. Breezey is also offering free web site hosting for up to 500 MB to YT'ers. You should take him up on that.

Also, once you upload the files, like you did here, you can edit the post and put the address into the image link and the pics will be displayed.

Why did you keep the factory hitch instead of incorporating it into the new bumper?
Just wondering,
Mike

He will need the stock hitch for towing anything. When I had my bumper put on I asked Matt about the max tow rating for the integrated receiver point. He built it as a recovery point; made to accept pulling forces front to rear, like pulling your buddy out or getting recovered. The issue is with the tongue weight of the trailer. He just couldn't tell me what weight the receiver would hold. He told me his receivers are not meant to tow trailers (at least mine wasn't) and he could not put a pound amount to what it would hold.

Custom made bumpers + towing = liability

I am sure they recommend using the factory hitch for that reason.

So true, but I don't see the point of a custom bumper if the tow hitch is still hanging down below it. You'll still hit the hitch first, therefore no ground clearance or departure angle is gained.
