Rock Crawler Steelies Black Paint ?
My wheel weights got put on the outside of my nice new black steelies. I anyone's experience what black paint matches the powdercoat the closest? Semi Gloss or Gloss?

That is what I used. Works great. Easy to put on with the little brush. Bonds well. Never had to reapply.
My wheels had wheels weights all over the place, but you can't tell in this photo.

Actually balancing on both sides does a much better job, especially on steel wheels which are notoriously out of balance from the factory. That being said, I recommend going with a semi-gloss to start, and if that does not match well, go with the gloss.
Good luck getting the paint to stick on those weights. For some reason, even prepped and primed the paint just does not want to bond.
