RIMS, RIMS, and more RIMS........

Okay, not quite, but I do have some questions about best rim/tire sizes for a 1997 sr5 4runner. I plan on upgrading to 18's or maybe 20's. I am skeptical about 20's however since i drive about 90 miles daily on the highway. I've heard the ride quality isn't the best and you would almost half to lower the front end to help with sway. I'd rather stick with 18's but it seems near impossible to find "DA HOTNESS" in 18's anymore for SUV's.......I figure if I do cop some 18's then the best tire size is 265/55/18 right? Any 4runners owners with big rims please chime in and help. Thanks in advance playaz.....

Sup man,

My 2000 is on dubs with 275/45/20 treads. I'm not much of an offroader, so I figured why not turn my "SUV" into a street machine instead. I lowered it 3 inches, threw on some dubs, added a rear-sway bar and lateral rod, and the results have been sweet. Aside from some minor tweaking (re-alignment, suspension bushings, etc.) and a slightly-harsher ride, I don't have any complaints about the bigger rims. Check out my ride at:
