Removing 5vz - Where to anchor?

I have everything disconnected and ready to pull out my engine - does anybody know the best place to attach the cherry picker chains? The FSM shows two engine brackets that attach down near the motor mounts and then to the chains - but they are specific toyota parts. I am using a load leveler with 4 anchor points and am wondering if there are any good mounting points higher up on the engine. Thanks!

Not really many attach points up high on the passenger side, the best anchor points are on the side of the heads or you can use the exhaust manifold studs if you have the manifolds off already. I'd be worried about yanking the entire motor just attaching to the intake (esp if you want to reuse any of your old parts later). There is a FSM tool for it or you can make one out of 1/4" sheet metal.

The left side lift point is the black bracket. The right side lift hook does not come with the engine, you need to order one or make one, part number is in the FSM. I used the lift hook from my 3.0. I also used a 4 point leveler. You only need to use two of the chains. If the two dangling chains bother you, remove them.

I made one from an old 3.0 engine. One bolt hole needs to be relocated.
