rebuilt driveshaft and i still feel vibration ? ?

been having a little vibration so i had the driveshaft rebuilt and balanced, put it back on and i still feel the vibe starting at 60 mph, no vibe in the steering wheel at all, what could be causing this if the drivehsaft is now ok, also i feel the vibration under my feet at times.

You could have a bearing going bad in the tranny or one of the diffs.

Check the u-joints again anyway....2 months ago doesn't mean one of them wasn't defective or couldn't have gone bad by now. It doesn't take much to induce vibration in something like that. When my rear u-joint went bad, there was no play or squeeking going on either - it took a really good visual inspection with a flashlight to reveal the impending failure at one of the bearing caps. Also, check the tailshaft on your tranny and have that yoke checked for wear, the one on the rear end too, if there is wear/play in either one of those, that could be your problem as well.

What vehicle? Tacoma d shafts seem to be notorious for having play at the coupler bearing where 2 piece d shafts go together. Lift makes it worse.

Yeah, I had a u-joint drop a chunk off and it caused pretty powerful vibrations above 60 mph. You oughta check it again.

ok guys, i wanted to update my vibration problem, read on another forum where a guy said that the 4r e brake could stick and warp my drums from the heat, and the warped drums could be what is causing my vibration. i dont feel any pulsation when i get on the brakes. i can feel the vibe now around town, but i feel it most starting at about 60mph. i know for a fact now that my e brake is stuck because when i pull up it only clicks 2 times and it only comes up about 1/3 of the way. is there anyway this e brake problem is the reason i am vibrating in the rear end? thanks guys

Just got rid of my high speed vibes. Took the truck to the dealer for a proper lug centric wheel balance. Even one other shop supposedly had lug centric balancer, but it did not work.
Ah the smooth drive!
Hope you gets your issue fixed.
