Rear Control Arms - Upper & Lower
I am looking at replacing the entire set of rear control arms on my current project, a 97 4Runner SR5 3.4 4WD. I was wondering if anybody wanted to suggest brands/places (links appreciated) that might be upgrades over OEM. On the other side of that, is this a place where aftermarket might be acceptable? I see these on ebay Rocar brand, which I know nothing about. They are like half of OEM price. I want maximum dependability and longevity, so I am happy to pay a little bit of a premium for upgrade parts, or pay OEM cost if that's they way to go. But if the aftermarket cheapies are in reality comparable, well, I have so much to rebuild on this, anywhere I can ave would be great.
Thanks for any suggestions

Check out Steve Schaeffer of Sonoran Steel:
http://www.sonoransteel.com/index.ph...products_id=19
Steve's a great guy and you'll learn a lot from his website. He's got a very good and valid explanation about the rear control arms
There's also Wheeler's Off-road:

I'll have to double check that link then- Sonoran Steel was the first site I checked to see if they had anything, and I couldn't find rear control arms. I completely agree that Steve is running a great business. I have yet to purchase much through them, but Steve has always been prompt and helpful in responses to questions about his products. He has a great reputation across multiple Toyota/4Runner/Tacoma forums. It is my intention to purchase a 1.2 lift for my '97 SR5 rebuild once I get it to that point. I am in full support of Sonoran Steel at this point. Thanks for the link
