rear coils or k&n filter?

Be advised that for some models, Toyota had a recall on the rear springs. You might be able to get your dealer to replace them for free. The only thing is that I am not sure if its applicable to both 2nd and 3rd gens.

The cone filter works way way better than the $50 K&N drop in filter (beleve me, I have one) and even did more than my Magnafolw mufler! Only drawback is that you willneed to fabicate a brackett to suport the intake after you pull out the air box.

That's not to say you can't run your old shocks for a while but you really won't get the full benefit untill you do. Check this thread I made. Has some really good info on installation and ride before and after:1.5 HD Coils
