rear cargo aux power socket not working
98 4runner, anyone know which fuse belongs to the rear cargo aux outlet? I checked the fuses under the hood and under the driver side panel but I did not seem to see a bad one?

It is the same fuse as the other two aux 12V outlets under the radio (not the cigarette lighter). Does the 98 4Runner even have the two front 12V outlets?
On my 2002 4Runner, the power to the three aux 12V outlets comes from the 15A PWR OUTLET fuse.
Of course, the power to the outlets is only on when the power outlet relay contacts close, which of course requires the relay be good, and requires the 15A ACC fuse to also be good.
Again, this is on a 2002 4Runner, but the 15A pwr outlet fuse and the power outlet relay are located in the engine compartment relay box on the drivers side by the battery, and the 15A ACC fuse is located in the driver side fuse box inside the vehicle.
Hope this helps you a bit.

1 of 2 power sockets work
Fuse is ok. One out of two sockets work. Both went out using air pump. The socket must have overheated and tripped a non resettable fuse. Must replace sockets
