Rear axle questions...

I just got the adjusted appraisal in the mail from when I was hit a few weeks ago... now they have the rear axle housing added in (Replace OEM) -- is the housing any different for an axle w/ the factory rear locker as opposed to the housing without a factory rear locker?

Also, I've heard quite a few things about aftermarket rear axle seals... for the rear oil inner seal they have an "aftermarket new" written in but for the rear oil outer seal they have "replace oem". They have "aftermarket new" written in for the rear axle bearing as well. The rear axle seal is also "replace aftermarket".

Basically I'm just wondering if these parts are gonna hold up or give me issues as others have mentioned. Please give whatever feedback you may have regarding aftermarket vs. OEM and also if it's worth going through the hassle of having things switched out. I just want to make sure this all gets done right the first time.

Thanks in advance

yes, the housing for a rear locker is different than the standard housing.

stuff like axle seals and bearings, i would go with NEW OEM from toyota dealership, not from some 3rd party seller.

Definetly use OEM seals since I've seen aftermarket ones fail after even just 10k miles.
