Rear Axle

Rear Axle
I sprung a rear axle and thus have to change out the seal. I have everything taken apart, but I need to take it to a shop to get the seal pressed out. I just phoned my local Toyota dealer and they recommended changing the bearing, all the seals, clip etc. because oil would have gotten through the bearing which would eventually cause it to fail. Is this a load of crap?
So should I just get the seal changed, or the whole deal?
Thanks.

I have a seal puller, so I can get at the inner seal. I'm talking about the outer seal by the bearing, the one on the axle shaft.
Regardless, I know I can get just the seal changed, but should I also change the bearing due to potential oil damage. Way I look at it, is pay for it now, instead of paying for it later. I rather have my truck in perfect working order seeing as the cold is coming fast. It isn't fun working in the garage once the mercury drops.
Thanks.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks. Now if I can just get through to the servicing guy at Toyota. They must be really busy with everyone getting ready for winter. There was already frost on my windows last night.
Thanks.
Thanks.
