re-threading stripped tow points.
when i had my old waag brushguard taken off, a body shop took it off for me. in the process they totally stripped the threads where it mounts on the bottom to the frame. is it possible to re-thread that using maybe a thread chaser or something. my tjm15 isnt bolted at the point and it requires to be.

If the material isnt there anymore (been stripped/pulled out) then even if you chased the threads with a tap, theres still no material to form the threads.
inotherwords, your going to have to increase in size. You can try to step up to a standard size bolt and hope there is something just SLIGHTLY larger. again its about how much material do you have/need.
if its not big enough youll end up with double threads, and those are just as hard to deal with as stripped ones.

Well... really the first thing you should do is take this up to the body shop. No way should you pay for them to remove and then pay for their mistake.
