radio/clock electrical problem
Okay, here goes, sometimes for no reasons differnt operating condiitions, the power to the dash clock will go out, along with the radio, Stock radio w cassette and Cd under, the radio will still show that it is on, BUT, no sound. This is in a 90 4runner. After some time it will start to work and work for a week without problem. Can't be a fuse because it comes back on,, This is driving me nuts. If it was the power to both the clock and radio then the radio light and display would not work. Hope someone else has had this problem and can shed some light on it.
thanks
thanks

You should take the dash off and take a closer look at the wires running to your electric cock (lol). Chances are good that they aren't getting a solid connection.

They can make all kinds of substitute body parts these days.
Sounds you need a new radio. Possibly the interanl amp is going bad. Especially if all the connections look good.
Thanks for the typo.
