questions about a LIFT
Hello, I have a 97 runner sr5, im looking to do a lift for it. I was told to do a 4' OME, and run 33s. i guess im just looking for some suggestions as to whats good and whats not. im a little new at the whole lift thing. ALso about a rear locker, is the factory electric Locker any good?...i dont have one but i am planning on putting one on. if anybody could get back to me id apreciate it. thanks.

you can't go wrong with OME. they are a bit on the expensive side though
the factory rear locker is highly desirable. instead of having to put up with an auto locker's behavior on the road just to enjoy it on the trail, you can go from an open diff to a full spool with the push of a button

Do a search. You will find so much stuff you won't know what to do with yourself .
ps, OME stuff is great, contact Mike at xtremeoff-road.com/ for the best price. Hes a fellow yotatech member and has a 3rd gen even. They aren't 4" lifts though. More like 2.75-3. When you go over 3 you have bad cv problems. I would recomend getting the revtek diff drop no mater what lift you go with, its cheap insurance for the CVs.
