Question about removing the timing cover on 2.7

Hey guys, I have a problem. I just did a head gasket job, put a new head on, new timing components etc. I even removed the oil pan and everything. But now i have one heck of an oil leak coming from the passenger side gasket on the timing cover. and i know why too. when i got the (cheap) set from ebay, that particular side was literally too short, so i compensated with RTV sealer, thinking that would fix the problem. Well i was wrong, and now its dumping oil everywhere.

My question is, can i replace that gasket by just removing the timing cover or do i have to remove the head AND the oil pan again to get to it? my plan hopefully, is to get the timing cover bolts off, and wedge a new OEM gasket on there, but im wondering if i have to remove the head gasket or the oil pan to do the job.

Please help! I have to move in 2 weeks and this couldnt have been realized at a worse time.

Thanks for your help and advice everyone!

Chris
