Question about panhard drop bracket.

I have a second gen 4Runner with the Downey HD rear springs. I saw in another post about installing a panhard drop bracket. My right rear tire sticks out more than my left. Will this bracket even out the tires so both sides are equal?

Yep.

http://www.fastq.com/~sschaefer/store.html#Panhard Not sure if Steve's will work with a 2nd gen or not, or if he's even making any currently. But his pics will show you why its a good idea.

Yes it will, give er take a couple cm's. Hopefully you got the Downey kit, which includes the drop bracket. Otherwise yer gonna have a hard time finding someone willing to give one up. If you have the 2-3" lift coils, you'll need a 3" drop bracket, don't get the one from procomp, it is 4". That will only succeed in dropping the bar too lowe and it will still be sticking out on the right side. Good luck.

if you have a 2nd gen, then schaefer's drop bracket won't fit. They are for 3rd gens. Could have one fabbed, I have the schematic for a 2nd gen bracket.

I've heard ProComp makes one for the 2nd gen for $40. I'm not sure if it's true because I haven't looked into it. I would check there first before you go fabbing something up.

yes, it's true, but I heard you can only get them with their lift kit. I wanted to get one just to see if I could make it fit, that was before I just made my own.
