Purchased a Shrockworks Bumper today. UPDATE 11/24/2010
UPDATE 11/24/2010. POST 36!
Well I'm currently deployed with the AF and with my extra cash i decided to pull the trigger on one of there winch bumpers. Only having the center loop installed and its arriving in bare steel so i can have it line-x'd before it goes on the truck. I still have 3 months out here and the wait time according to Jim over there is 3 possibly 4 months. Also, they do offer 5% off if you are military and can show proof, which is really nice. A new set of 33x11.50 Dick Cepek tires and If anyone has a yakima roof rack they want to sell. That about puts my runner about were i want it . well just figured Id share about my expensive purchase and now it turns into the waiting game lol.

I've been thinking about getting one of these. Its a very appealing product even though it costs an arm and a leg. Get what you pay for? I guess we'll find out! Let me know how the install goes.

Definitely subscribed, those are the BEST looking bumpers out there in my opinion.
Only the best for our fighting men and women right? haha

Punch good choice I ordered one about two weeks before your first post. Mines comming with both hoops, powder coated, and wider for limited fenders. The wait is killing me!! I hit a deer and can't drive my runner till I get the new bumper. I thank it will be worth it. We'll see.
Thank you for serving.

Punch, I just happen to have one slightly used Yakima Load Warrior w/accessories boxed and ready to ship. pm me.
The center pre-runner hoop is a nice option and an even better choice. You'll be happy and "shrocked" when it arrives. It's definitely worth the wait.

The bumpers are SWEET I wish Mama hadn't taken my play money!!
I'M SADDENED TO SEE ANY AMERICAN JOKE ABOUT OUR TROOPS!!! JUST THINK ABOUT WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE WITH OUT THEM !!!
Food for thought your rig wouldn't be a import if not for them!

The single hoop is awesome. I was hoping I'd be the only one, but these seem to be gaining lots of popularity! If Jim and SW could get the timing down to only a few weeks, I think they'd sell like hotcakes.
The fit and finish on mine is superb. No problem getting everything aligned and installed with OEM-looking nice uniform gaps.

the bumper is all it billed to be i have one and should post pics of it. they did some custom work to mines and it came out better than expected. the wait was well worth it, even though i was having doubts at 4-5 months.
side note you should order the their sliders as well they were able to combine the shipping

another military guy who is deployed!
I was thinking about going with Slee bumper:
http://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/...rs_4runner.htm
They don't make Sliders anymore, which is sad...
But never fret InchWormGear is here!!! $135 and they are designed to be welded in place!:
http://www.inchwormgear.com/store/pr...dbe3ed189626b8
Ironman Monster winches are new (australian) 12,000lbs for $699 or so....
www.sdtrux.com
Roof Rack, go Thule MOAB(Mother Of All Baskets). If you rock slide, it should be fine, just don't go inverted...:
http://www.thule.com/en/US/Products/...ets/37643.aspx
Now if I could only find a good rear bumber...

Nice find with the Sliders though. Those are by far the least expensive I have come across.
