Projection Headlamps - Aftermarket 3Rd Gen
Does anyone know if any company sell's aftermarket projection head-lamps for 3rd Generation 4Runner's? I know there is ways to make projection head-lights like posted here....but from 03+ they sell the actual bolt-in head-lamps. I looked all over and can't find any...i was hoping someone around yotatech would have some insight...?

Though you say this now, in many of the threads you will see that the cost in just parts can exceed past the multiple hundreds of dollars, and that is with careful shopping. But then add in the many hours of labour to do it right and you will be exceeding the high hundreds and into maybe the thousand mark. If you got the cash, i'm sure someone may, but then you get into the whole expectations of quality and "warranty" issues.

Agreed Godzilla.
Jay, I could make you a set, but I'd have to charge you a thousand plus. Finding good deals on parts takes time (took me the better part of 3 months). Then finding the time to actually complete the retro takes even more time (my time is limited as it is). Therefore, the cost and time to produce a set of retros out weighs the profit for me.
If I could find a way to create retros in a timely manner for paying customers, then I'd definitely do it. Until then, you're on your own

Parts wise, if you wanted to copy my retro, you'd need everything I've listed in my retro thread.
It's not as hard as you might think though. In my case, it was just very time consuming. My retro was the very first I've ever attempted. I knew ZERO about HIDs and how they operated, but by reading the many, many retro threads on here and on HID Planet and talking to others who had completed their own retros, I learned a ton real quick.

depends on what type of projectors you go with. the 4runner lights are huge, so you can use whatever you want. price and availability are your only constraints. modding your projectors will yield different/better results too, depending on what youre going for. if you want razor sharp cutoff with a thick color band, you can do that via clear lenses and modding with some projectors. if you want to save the extra $75 or so bucks, you can stick with a stock projector. there are benefits and drawbacks to each though, which is why they're produced anyway. i think i've got a pretty sharp cutoff, and lots of color out of mine.
